Historical Barn Wedding in Jordan, Niagara Wine Country

Honsberger Estate Winery is so charming and the perfect venue for a casual, relaxed wedding, such as Heather and Robs last summer. Heather wanted natural looking garden inspired flowers, with white peonies and soft foliage being the focus. We decided to add a small amount of fresh lavender from our cutting garden to her bouquet for an accent, as well as add some fragrance along with the lushly scented peonies. The ceremony arbour draping was from our friends at Simply Beautiful Decor, as was the rustic fabric runners on the harvest tables. In the 200 year old barn where they had their dinner reception, we adorned the wooden harvest guest tables with greenery garland and floating candles in cylinder vases, which reflected off the old barn wood walls...the effect was very inviting....and for an added touch, a bundle of lavender tied to the runner ends with twine ribbon! After the ceremony was over, we repurposed the arbour greenery and flowers for the headtable design.
